Community Rescue

ENERGEX Community Rescue* is a non-profit organisation, which was
established more than 25 years ago to undertake vital rescue,
medical and search missions throughout south-east Queensland.

Energex Community Rescue* is supported and owned by the community
it serves. The service is staffed by volunteers, emergency doctors, nurses
and paramedics, who supplement the service's full-time staff.

Working in cooperation with the Queensland Ambulance, Police, Fire and
Rescue Services, Queensland Health, Australian Search and Rescue, and
other emergency services, ENERGEX Community Rescue* operates 24 hours
a day, 365 days a year, at no cost to the people we rescue.               




How is ENERGEX Community Rescue* funded?

As a non-profit organisation we rely on donations from the community to help us stay in the air.

Who do they help

The ENERGEX Community Rescue Helicopters provide an essential, life saving service. Every year we help rescue hundreds of people from many different backgrounds. We have bases on the Sunshine Coast and in Bundaberg.
